On Wednesday evening, June 17, a University of Maryland student became a registered member of DC Bethel church.

Glen Hua, who has been studying the Bible with the church for more many months, decided to make Bethel church his home church where he can grow closer to Christ.

“Susanna met Glen back in January 2020. After many Bible studies and joining the church, Glen decided to make our church his home church. We are grateful to have Glen as our member and we pray the Holy Spirit can lead him to become a strong member of our family in DC,” said a church member.

Glen is studying Japanese as his major and Chinese as his minor at the University of Maryland. He is also personally studying Korean and wishes to become a translator or interpreter in the future.
