D.C. Bethel Church Celebrates the Day of Family Church

On Sunday, May 27, members in Washington, D.C., gathered to worship God and celebrate the day of family church.

Sachie Yoshimoto and Gideon Hong sang a special song during the service to commemorate the day of family church.

“It was very joyful to Sachie and Gideon singing together again. We are glad to have Sachie back in D.C., and everyone received grace hearing their family church singing a special song to celebrate the day of family,” shared Bethel Church, minister Sam Kim.

After the service, everyone watched a special video presentation showing the family churches in Washington, D.C. and then held cake cutting ceremony.

“Mandy custom-made a special cake for the day of family church. She designed it and made it from scratch and it was very beautiful. We cut the cake together and thanked God for allowing us to build a spiritual family all together and family churches in this city,” said Kim.

In the afternoon, everyone spent time together through joining mini-Olympics with prizes.

“We didn’t get to spend too much time together outdoors. Pastor Michelle Mu organized games where adults and children can take part together. Everyone got to sweat and had fun. Please pray that all the families can grow stronger in Christ Jesus and go forward building His Kingdom and His righteousness!”
