What Does The Bible Say About Cain And Abel?

When Adam fell after breaking God’s commandment, sin entered into humans. Sin begets sin, and we can see this through the story of Cain and Abel. Cain killed his brother Abel. There is a fight in our hearts between evil and good. This kind of inner struggle makes us very tired and weary. Even after justification by faith, we see the same fight inside of our hearts and fall in despair by realizing how sinful we are. There is only one way for us to win this battle according to the Apostle Paul. It is when we unite with Jesus Christ, lay down our sinful desires at the cross, and live again with Jesus. Let’s look at what the Bible says about Cain and Abel.

And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did norespect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the Lord said to Cain,
